WIS are pleased to announce a fully-funded PhD position within the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network “NERVSPAN”. They are seeking a highly motivated and talented candidate to join their team and work on an exciting interdisciplinary research project.
The Oren-Suissa lab investigates how sexually dimorphic patterns in the brain emerge, from synapse formation to animal behavior. Sexual dimorphisms in brain structure and function are evident across phylogeny, but little is known about sexually dimorphic features of individual neurons and the mechanisms for the establishment and maintenance of dimorphic neuronal circuits. The Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS) is one of the world’s leading multidisciplinary research institutions.
