The She Figures publication provides a range of indicators on gender equality in research and innovation at Pan-European level. It aims to give an overview of the gender equality situation, using a wide range of indicators to examine the impact and effectiveness of policies implemented in this area.
Genderaction (GENDer equality in the ERA Community To Innovate policy implementatiON. Coordination and Support Action) is a four year Horizon 2020 project funded under the SwafS-19-2016 call with a budget of 1,949,400 EUR.
The main objectives of the project are to analyse Members States’ progress towards implementation of gender equality in R&I through national ERA action plans and strategies, develop policy briefs, organise training events and mutual learning, and build new collaborations to advance gender equality in international cooperation in science, technology and innovation. The first European Research Area Network (ERA-NET) Cofund scheme to be dedicated to the promotion of gender equality in research and innovation. It gathers 16 national funding organisations coming from 13 countries (Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and Canada) committed to strengthening transnational collaborations and joint funding towards a common goal: advancing gender equality in research institutions and the integration of the gender dimension into research and innovation contents and programmes.
Developing an international network of Communities of Practice (CoPs) as agents to develop gender equality actions in research organisations across Europe. It is building on the GenPORT internet portal – created through FP7 – to transform this resource centre and online community of practitioners on gender equality and excellence in science, technology or innovation, into a central CoP gender equality knowledge- and practice-sharing hub (GenPORT+).
Funded under the European Innovation Ecosystems work programme of Horizon Europe, Women TechEU is a brand new initiative of the European Union. The scheme offers first-class coaching and mentoring to female founders, as well as targeted funding to help take their business to the next level.
