Xjenza Malta has joined the EP BrainHealth, a major initiative launched by the European Union and Participating Partners aimed at promoting brain health and preventing or treating neurological, mental, and sensory disorders through transnational research and innovation. It brings together fifty-four partners from thirty-three countries with the common goal of improving brain health for all by developing scientific knowledge as a foundation to promote brain health throughout the lifetime, to prevent and to cure brain diseases as well as to improve wellbeing of people living with neurological and mental disorders in Europe and beyond.
This event will introduce EP BrainHealth, outline upcoming funding opportunities, and highlight how Xjenza Malta will support Maltese researchers and innovators to join international consortia, with up to EUR 500,000 available per project at national level.
The event will celebrate a collaborative effort to strengthen brain health research through scientific excellence, interdisciplinary partnerships, and a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes. It will bring together stakeholders from research institutions, hospitals, healthcare providers, patient and civil society organisations, and industry, creating a unique opportunity for networking and partnering in the neuroscience and mental health fields.
This event is held under the patronage of Dr Lydia Abela.
