The 8th lecture of the ANSO Science Lecture Series I, ScienceOne: From AI Theory to Systematic Practice, titled “Foundations of AI Agents,” is scheduled for 15 September 2026.

Continuing the ScienceOne series produced by the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA), this lecture will feature Prof. CHEN Yingying, who will introduce AI agent architecture (perception, planning, execution), multi-agent collaboration, protocols, and evolution from conversational tools to autonomous actors. It discusses trends like self-evolution and swarm intelligence, and aims to equip researchers with theories for building cognitive, actionable agents. It will also address AI4S’s “Fifth Paradigm” and human-AI synergy in reshaping discovery.

This course is designed for university students, teachers, and individuals interested in computer technology and artificial intelligence.
