📣 Xjenza Malta is pleased to announce the launch of the M-ERA.NET Joint Call 2026 — a dynamic funding opportunity that will empower Malta-based researchers and innovators to participate in transnational research projects focused on advanced materials and battery technologies in support of the European Green Deal.

💰Xjenza Malta is participating with a national budget allocation of up to €300,000 per project.

Unlocking New Opportunities

The M-ERA.NET Joint Call 2026 offers eligible applicants the chance to:

Participate in transnational projects by leveraging funding and support to develop pioneering solutions in advanced materials and battery technologies.

• Address six thematic areas:

 Materials for energy storage and distribution systems

1. Materials for energy conversion
2. Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces
3. Innovative functional materials with defined architectures
4. Materials addressing environmental challenges
5. Next generation materials for electronics
