You are invited to attend a seminar for the Xjenza Malta funded project: Bee-Optech4Honey!  This project is a collaboration between the University of Malta and the University of Isik (Türkiye) which aims to optimise beekeeping practices and honey quality.

During the seminar you will learn all about the project, with topics related to honey quality analysis, achieving PGI status for Maltese thyme honey, using AI and machine learning to determine optimal sites for beekeepers to set up their apiaries, and setting up optimal routes for migratory beekeeping.  We will also be sharing some of our results, so be sure not to miss this event!

Xjenza Malta has joined the EUP OHAMR, a major initiative launched by the European Union and Participating Partners to combat the global health threat of antimicrobial resistance through a comprehensive One Health approach. This ambitious 10-year partnership unites 53 organisations across 30 countries, fostering integrated, cross-sectoral research and innovation that bridges human, animal, and environmental health. Together, the partnership aims to drive breakthrough solutions that safeguard health and ensure a sustainable, safer future for all.
